Eric M. Ellis, M.A., President and CEO
Selected by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), as one of the top one hundred Diversity/Inclusion experts in the world, Eric Ellis believes in linking strategic interventions to bottom-line business results. Through his management consulting firm, Integrity Development, he has had the privilege of working with corporate clients that include Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Maytag International, Lexmark International, Procter & Gamble, Plante & Moran LLP, Mercy Health Partners, Scripps, Kindred Healthcare and Huntington Bank.
As the President and CEO of Integrity Development, Ellis has conducted national and regional keynote addresses for the Society for Resources Management, the Urban League and multi business expositions. On the local level, he moderated the Common Ground broadcasts for ABC affiliate WCPO-TV and WCET-TV during Cincinnati’s civil unrest He has recently published an article titled “The Seven Principles of Inclusion” which explores the practical application of managing inclusion.
Previously, Ellis had been Managing Director of Inroads Greater Cincinnati/Dayton, a training and development organization, and Program Director for the University of Cincinnati’s Division of Evening College and Continuing Education. He has a M.A. in Planning from the University of Cincinnati where he also completed two years of post-graduate studies focused on organizational development. His B.A. is in Business from Wright State University where he was a member of their NCAA Division II National Championship Basketball team.
The recipient of many awards, Ellis has received a State of Ohio Governor’s Citation, recognition for leadership by former President Bush’s Point of Light Foundation and the designation as Greater Cincinnati’s Big Brother of the Year. Integrity Development was also awarded Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s Small Business of the Year Award and South Central Ohio Minority Business Council’s Minority Business of the Year Award. In the spring of 2007, Integrity Development was nominated to receive the Class I Supplier of the Year Award designated by the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
A leader in his professional field, Ellis also has a strong and enduring relationship with community service in the Greater Cincinnati area. He currently serves on the Steering Committee for Leadership Cincinnati and on the Board for the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. As a hobby he loves to sing and write music and has had the honor of singing the National Anthem at a Cincinnati Reds Baseball Game.
