Horizon Three is defined as Institutionalizing Diversity Management Practices. Institutionalize represents the internalization of diversity in a way that results in sustained business success. The focus of this Horizon is to aid an organization in becoming more self-sufficient and capable as it relates to the development of effective diversity management practices. Success in this third Horizon results in: appropriate resources being dedicated to diversity management; measurable diversity strategies being implemented; and the organization’s internal diversity competence becoming substantially increased. All of these, indeed all three Horizons, ultimately result in and capitalize upon strong organizational leadership in a way that yields sustained and measurable business results.
