Our study of diversity has led us to conclude that diversity initiatives are most successful if the approach is process-oriented versus a series of activities. The use of the word Horizon is intended to encourage those who are responsible for implementing diversity initiatives, to view the work as perpetually moving beyond the limits of our horizons. We believe that there are three horizons that organizations reach on the path to a fully implemented and effective diversity strategy.
